Create the centre's account

Sign up your centre, choose the plan, and get it ready to publish the first content.

2026-07-23

Before you start

You will need:

  • An active email that will receive the confirmation link and from which you'll be the first administrator.
  • The legal name of the centre (you can change it later if needed).
  • A slug (the part of the portal URL): for example seaview-school. It must be unique within Lyncat Niu.

Important

The slug can be changed later, but doing so breaks any existing links pointing to the old one. Pick a slug that can last.

Step by step

Create your account

Go to https://admin-niu.lyn.cat/register. Enter your name, email, and a password, then click Continue →.

Fill in the centre's details

Centre name, phone, contact email, address, and portal language. The slug (the part of the URL, e.g. seaview-school) is generated automatically from the name, but you can edit it before continuing.

Customize the look (optional)

Upload the centre logo and choose a primary color. This step is optional — you can click Skip this step and set it up later from My Account.

Pick your plan

Select Llavor, Brot, or Arrel. All three include a 14-day free trial, no card required. Click Start Free Trial → to create the centre.

Go to the dashboard

On the final screen click Go to Dashboard → and you're in. The first thing you see is the dashboard with a summary of the centre's activity (students, families, published content).

How it looks once inside

Lyncat Niu registration form — step 1 of 4, with email and password fields and the step indicator at the top
The registration page guides the centre through 4 steps: your account, your school, image, and plan.

In the sidebar you have Content, Management, and Settings. The Configure school guide covers everything that fine-tunes this look before inviting families.

What if you sign out and forget the password

The panel doesn't have a self-service password recovery flow. Contact your school (another director or educator) or Lyncat support at suport@lyn.cat so they can set you up with a new access.
